Alpina and Frédérique Constant announce a major upgrade for its Horological Smartwatches. Latest update of the Companion App for Horological Smartwatches will now turn these watches into STOPWATCHES. This is for all Alpina and Frédérique Constant Smartwatches since 2015. Once the user updates the MMT-365 App on iPhone or Android Phone, multiple functions can be defined. Some of the new selections are Stopwatch, Run, Swim, Treadmill, Worldtimer, Date and Temperature. It is now possible to select a favorite function for 1x, 2x and 3x crown push. It is very easy to setup.
Multiple functions
In response to customer requests, we have added the option to log walk, run, swim or treadmill activity. Each event is individually stored and enables detailed analysis of your activities via the App. Launch activity recording by pushing the crown of your watch. When completed, it appears in the App on the activity chart with an activity icon. Press the activity icon to check the details of the activity.
Activity
At the bottom, users will now find the Calendar Icon to see an overview of activities and achievements of the month.

The new App is improved with better navigation and ergonomics. A new Menu makes it easier to access and manage settings.
The App is also improved with swipe screen functionality and five icons at the bottom. Swipe between Activity, Sleep, Dynamic Coach and Crown Settings. Tap any of the icons for fast access of the most important screens Dashboard, Calendar, My Watch, Settings and News.
Under Settings, users can choose preferred App look, keep the iconic Original Theme or choose a deeper impact theme like the Dark Theme.

The glowing hands are a slim, curved sword design with a stick seconds hand which once again features the red Alpina Watches Switzerland Replica triangle, this time for a counterweight. Dial print of the Alpina logo and signature is big, though given the 44mm situation and ample dial property, it is not overpowering. Aside from that, the dial is marked with “Automatic 100M-330FT” and “Swiss Made” in its traditional six o’clock location. All in all, the dial is powerful and appealing. Some might take offense at the replica of Alpina’s triangle which appears not as three times from the dial and hands but, quite honestly, that’s simply how Alpina rolls and you see their logo everywhere in their own collection. The inclusion of an anti-reflective sapphire crystal ensures unfettered viewing of the dial despite varying lighting conditions.Moving into the circumstance, which is 44mm by 10.7mm in dimension with a brushed finish and a very minimal pragmatic design, we see again how Alpina are paying homage to important pilot’s watches of days long ago. Absent are some intricacies in shifting finish or complicated case shapes or bevels. The tool watch feel is evident here and gives the watch a no nonsense aesthetic that plays into the pilot’s view idea. A straightforward but neatly engraved case back increases the pragmatic idea. A minor problem for me is the use of instance plating on two of those four variants of the Startimer Pilot Automatic. While I know the drive to make a “gold” and a “titanium” variant, I think the notion of case plating is a bit distasteful for many who know this plating can easily wear off with use, particularly on a instrument watch.
